Study Coaching Program for Students
A study coaching program was launched for students preparing for their Ordinary Level examinations in May 2024. The primary objective of implementing this program within schools is to improve students' academic performance, particularly among those who display a waning interest in education. The decision to introduce such a program was prompted by the prevailing challenges in the area, including school dropouts, teenage marriages, addiction issues, family disputes, maternal migration, single parenting, and others. The overarching aim is to enhance the quality of life for these children by offering them additional educational support and guidance. The selected schools for this program are as follows:
- Vidyaloka Vidyalaya – Kerawalapitiya
- Archbishops Collage – Nayakakanda
- Mary’s Vidyalaya – Mabola
- Siddhartha Vidyalaya – Walikadamulla
- Don Bosco – Palliyawatta
- Shasthraloka Vidyalaya – Dikovita
