Drawn by Love… Passionate for Justice – Into the Deep…
I write this letter regarding the most important life giving, life searching event which will take place in the Congregation this year – The Congregational Chapter.
Even though the CLT planned to have ICAs, CACS and Congregational Chapter in Angers, it had to take a different form due to the pandemic situation prevailing in the world through more virtual sessions, webinars and engaging as many as possible for the process.
As you know we have successfully completed the vICAs in the Province and now the time has come to reconnect its insights and experience Phase II. The Theme for this next Phase is “Into the Deep“. The Life Seekers Committee has established a process from the ICAs to the Congregational Chapter. The Chapter Core Team has developed a journaling process entitled “Integrative Process of Transformation” (IPT). This process will help us navigate the work of radical transformation in many areas. The hope of the CLT is to engage the entire Congregation (all Mission Partners) in exploring the Chapter theme over the coming months.
This process is very important for each of us not only considering it an official event but also as making use of it as a process to deepen ourselves personally and communally through the enriching reflections and inputs shared by them.
In order to have an effective process we have decided to have the below mentioned work plan:
• Link Councilors for this task will be from the Province Leadership Team: Srs. Roshanthi Ranwatta and Alexandra Mendis. • Named Group Leaders to conduct sessions in cluster communities. (attachment).
The Group Leaders along with the Link Councilors will invite you to attend sessions for this enriching process. During the coming months subsequent videos and resource kits will be provided to help all of us engage in personal reflection, journaling and communal, regional, and cross – Congregational sharing.
With the generous support of your Group Leaders I am sure you will engage in this process happily and enthusiastically. I am grateful to them!
I request you to considerer these sessions highly important and expect your fullest participation and co-operation. My humble invitation to you is to prayerfully commit to this journey, open to the depths of God’s Spirit in your own heart and to the hearts of others with whom you dialogue and to seek what this call means to you personally and communally which in turn will enrich the whole Province, and the Congregation.
United in the Hearts of Jesus and Mary
