International Women’s Day 2018.

“Time is Now: Rural and Urban activists transforming women’s lives”. This being the theme for International Women’s Day, 8 March, the Good Shepherd sisters at Waleboda and Walawa Estates had a day of celebration on Women’s Rights, Parenting Skills, Equality and ustice.

We were happy with the outcome of this event as this motivated the rural and estate women to transform their lives and give birth to a bright future to their children. Realizing the resources and resilience within them they were ready to join the Good Shepherd sisters to work for their rights and the rights of their children.
