OLCGS Under 50s Gathering

As a preparation for our General Chapter, the sisters who were below the age of 50 were called for a special gathering. The theme of this gathering was 'co-creating the emerging future one in God's Great Heart'.

99 of us (sisters) from the Province of Sri Lanka / Pakistan participated in this program. This was an enriching experience to all of us, because together with the chapter preparation committee and life seekers committee we discussed about the dreams and the Governing Structures that we envision for our future.

We felt the interconnectedness within our international congregation. We were able to enter into the deep reality of our congregation and we felt the richness of our Congregational culture.

This was the 1st time that we enjoyed the company of all the young sisters in our congregation.  

Amidst the diversity of the four Congregational languages (English, French, Portuguese and Spanish) we learnt that the only way forward is TOGETHER that is our interconnectedness and our collaboration with each other.
