Be Non – Violent to Build harmony in the Society – Non-Violence Generates Harmony in Society.
Sri Lanka as is well known is faced with multiple problems considering the multi religious and multi ethnic background of the country. Numerous factors that create conflict in society have been identified. With this in mind on the 27th of January 2023 a program, on the need of building harmony among the various communities was held for a fishing community. The chief focus was to raise awareness on how individuals need to respect the diversity of one another. A change of attitudes and perspective is essential. Non-violence paves the way for building harmony. |
